Work
I have over 30 years experience in bicycle distribution, having worked for distributors large and small. Selling many product categories and into retailers and distributors of all types and sizes. I have held positions as Sales Rep, Territory and Key Account Manager, International Sales Manager, Head of Sales and Sales Director.
I have represented many brands over the years. Some I launched into a market, others are household names in the cycle industry.
I have a track record of being able to grow a brand based on the image, history, story, people, innovation and tech.
Sport
I competed in many areas of cycle sport including road races, TT and MTB. The area I excelled at was on the Velodrome.
- Winning 3 British Elite Championships,
- 6 World Masters Titles
- Representing Scotland at 2 Commonwealth Games, 2002 and 2006
- Winning a bronze medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
- Scottish Track Coach at 2010 Commonwealth Games
Leisure
Nowadays I still ride my bikes and split leisure time between Road and MTB. With bike touring thrown in annually.
